Description
English: Saint Paul Aurélian's stole, in the church of the Batz island (France). Oriental piece of tissu of the 8th century. The drawing represents two hunters riding horses and facing each other. The colours are blue, white, yellow and brown. The stole is similar to the ones made in Assyria and Persia several centuries before our era.

Cette étoffe utilise du bleu, du jaune, du brun et du blanc et est semblable aux étoffes fabriquées en Assyrie et en Perse avant notre ère).
