Summary

A scan of a soft-ground etching which I made in the mid-1970s of a mediaeval misericord from Vendôme, France.

(Cf. http://ica.princeton.edu/misericordia/display.php?country=France&site=&view=country&page=236&image=12011

This scan is in the Public Domain (however, I retain ownership and copyright of the original artwork and any higher-resolution photography or scans derived from it).

It shows the mysterious Green Man of folklore, perhaps a symbol of fertilit, perhaps of resurrection. This scan is in the Public Domain (howev
