English: Takeaki Enomoto. 1864 at The Hague, Holland. Enomoto had attended the Dutch naval school in Nagasaki since 1856.In the period between 1863 and 1866; he went to the Netherlands to study the art of navigation. In 1868 Enomoto was promoted to second in command of the Japanese Navy.
