Summary

Description
English: (A) shows the nucleus and its surrounding nuclear envelop, which has an outer nuclear membrane (ONM) and inner nuclear membrane (INM). The ONM is continuous the with the endoplasmic reticulum. (B) shows the different layers of the nuclear envelope. (C) is depicting the anchoring of the ONM and INM by various proteins. The lamin-associated domain (LAD) is a section of DNA regulated by nuclear envelope proteins.
