Description Interior of Edison Motion Picture Studio's main facility in the Bronx, New York City used between 1907 and 1918. Several productions are shown here in progress simultaneously.
Date Photograph taken between 1910 and January 1913, although most likely in 1912 [Harold M. Shaw is sitting mid-ground with card or folded script numbered "26" tucked under his arm. Shaw acted at Edison from 1910 to summer of 1912, when the studio promoted him to director. He left Edison in January 1913 to direct for Independent Moving Pictures (IMP) in New York.]
