Summary

Description
English: A map of the growing Swedish dominion over what is today Finland in the late 13th century. Presupposing a passively annexed power base in Finland Proper, this map illustrates the direction of what has been numericalized as the latter two Swedish crusades against Tavastians, Karelians, and the princes of Novgorod; the veracity of the first one is disputed. Several notable castles of the time are also shown, as well as an interpretation of the border established by the Treaty of Nöteborg
