English: Denby station (remains), 1990 View SW, towards Little Eaton Junction and Derby: ex-Midland Derby - Ripley line, closed to passengers 1/6/30, but remained open for excursions, for freight until 1963; coal traffic continued as far as Denby, as is evident from the used track here in 1990 - which seems to have been renewed. There is talk of restoring a passenger service between Derby and Ripley. |
