Description
Nederlands: De Vickers Wellington met het serienummer L7788 en de rompcode KX-E van het Tsjechische 311 Squadron die in de vroege ochtend van 24 september 1940 na een aanval op Berlijn bij Leidschendam een buiklanding heeft gemaakt. Het licht beschadigde toestel wordt daarna opgeknapt door de Duitsers, die de bommenwerper vervolgens overvliegen naar Schiphol waar deze opname is gemaakt. De Wellington is enige tijd later voor verder onderzoek naar Duitsland afgevoerd. De Tsjechische bemanning van het toestel overleeft de crashlanding, maar een van de bemanningsleden, Sergeant Kunka, beneemt zichzelf het leven uit vrees voor repercussies voor zijn familie in zijn vaderland.
