Object history
Deutsch: Mit Beschluss vom 2. November 1982 entschied sich der Gemeinderat von Niersbach zur Führung dieses Ortswappens. Die Farben Rot und Silber erinnern an die Kurfürstliche Herrschaft Trier. Töpferscheibe und Tongefäß und rote Flammen gelten als Symbol des Töpferhandwerks, das seit frühester Zeit bis in unsere Tage in Niersbach betrieben wird. Der grüne Wellenschildfuß steht für Land- und Forstwirtschaft im Raume Niersbach-Greverath.
