Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde am 19. November 1938 durch Erlass der bayerischen Staatsregierung genehmigt. Grundlage des Wappens ist ein Siegel vom Gericht und Dorf Nordheim, das um 1580 entstanden und in Abdrucken seit 1593 belegt ist. Die fünfmalige Spaltung entstammt dem Wappen der Herren von Seinsheim, welche 1420 die Herrschaft Schwarzenberg bei Scheinfeld erwarben und erinnert an die Zugehörigkeit Nordheims zur Herrschaft Scheinfeld. Die hintere Schildhälfte stellt den "Nordwind" dar und steht redend für den Ortsnamen.
