Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen mit dem gebogenen Schrägbalken wurde ursprünglich vom Ortsadelsgeschlecht von Altbach geführt. Im Jahre 1930 war es -irrtümlich mit einem Schräglinksbalken versehen - im Schultheißenamtssiegel der Gemeinde Altbach enthalten. Die aus diesem inzwischen längst berichtigten Wappen abgeleiteten Flaggenfarben wurden der Gemeinde am 15. März 1954 von der Landesregierung verliehen.
