Summary

Description
English: Curve of growth is a relation between equivalent width of absorbtion line W and abundance of corresponding element N. Generally, it has three parts: linear part where W ∝ N, plateau part where W ∝ √(ln N) and damping part where W ∝ √N.
Русский: Кривая роста — зависимость между эквивалентной шириной линии поглощения W и содержанием соответствующего химического элемента N. Как правило, кривая роста имеет три части: линейную, где W ∝ N, пологую, где W ∝ √(ln N) и область затухания излучения, где W ∝ √N.
