English: Crickhowell market hall, High Street This building, completed 1834, replaced an earlier one in Beaufort Street. The pillared market hall on the ground floor is open to the street, above was the court room (now a restaurant).
Up until the ?1950s, local farmers' wives would bring their produce for sale here every Thursday. |
