Vue d'ensemble de la Corbusierhaus L'unité d'habitation Corbusierhaus a été construite en 1957 sous la direction de l'architecte Le Corbusier (1887-1965). Sur le même modèle que la Cité Radieuse à Marseille, l'unité d'habitation de Berlin devait former un village autonome, pourvu d'une école, de services, de boutiques, etc. Le manque de crédits n'a pas permis de réaliser la totalité du programme. Le bâtiment, destiné à combattre la pénurie de logements après guerre à Berlin, compte 575 appartements répartis sur 17 étages. Il est à proximité du stade olympique.
