| Description |
English: Class 25 Diesel on a Train to Weybourne Class 25 25057 The 'Sulzer' is clagging away towards Weybourne with the diesel diagramme. As the steam gala requires 6 trains to be running it was used. The sudden and unexpected withdrawal of WD 90775 last year meant that the railway was a big engine down. This example does have steam power though, it has a boiler for steam heating the coaching stock. It was unfortunate that it wasn't a steam engine, the weather was fantastic for a while on an otherwise gloomy day.
Please Note this photo was taken on railway property, I was in possession of a line side pass issued by the railway. Going on the line side without one is trespassing. |
