Description
English: Chingkhei Eekon is a sacred pond of the Meitei people in the northeastern corner of the citadel and the palace building of the Kangla fort in Imphal. In Meitei language (officially called Manipuri language), "Chingkhei" means "Northeast" and "Eekon" means "Pond". Chingkhei Eekon is also called Chingkhei Pukhri, Chingkhei Ekon or Chingkhei Ikon.

বাংলা: চিংখেই ইকোন হল ইম্ফালের কাংলা দুর্গের "সিটাডেল" এবং প্রাসাদ ভবনের উত্তর-পূর্ব কোণে মেইতেই জনগণের একটি পবিত্র পুকুর। মেইতেই ভাষায় (সরকারিভাবে মণিপুরী ভাষা বলা হয়), "চিংখেই" মানে "উত্তরপূর্ব" এবং "ইকোন" মানে "পুকুর"। চিংখেই ইকোনকে চিংখেই পুখরিও বলা হয়।
