English: St Sophia's Chapel on the Glendaruel Estate The chapel on the Glendaruel Estate was built by Harrison Cripps, the London surgeon who removed King Edward's appendix, for his mistress and second wife, Giulia Ravogli, an Italian Opera Singer. She was a practicing Catholic and the was no other RC chapel in the glen.
