English: Cathedral of St John the Divine / Ard-eaglais Eòin an Diadhair St John's Cathedral is surrounded by town buildings and less well known than St Columba's which enjoys a prominent position on the waterfront. It was constructed between 1863 and 1968 and this interior view shows the unusual steel girders which support the central tower.
