English: Captain (later Honorary Colonel, Royal Artillery, Sir) Richard Masters Gorham KB, CBE, DFC, JP, who served successively in the Bermuda Volunteer Engineers (reserve of the Royal Engineers), the Bermuda Militia Artillery (reserve of the Royal Artillery), the regular Royal Artillery, and the Bermuda Rifles, in London as part of the Bermudian Contingent for the 1953 Coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
