Description

California State Capitol in Vallejo California. A Vallejo wooden two-story building served as the California State Capitol from May 4, 1852 to February 4, 1853. The former Vallejo California State Capitol Building was lost on August 20, 1859, as hay stored in the basement caught fire. Site is now a parking lot. Site is California Historical Landmark #574
