For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB-Hirndorf-24.5.1989-Neues Standesamt in Erfurt. Ein neues Standesamt in Erfurt wurde im Dezember 1988 der Öffentlichkeit übergeben. Das "Das Haus zum Sonneborn" wurde im Jahre 1558 im Renaissancestil errichtet. Bis zu seiner heutigen Funktion diente es als Bierbrauerei, Gaststätte und Fleischerei. Aus geschichtlicher und denkmalpflegerischer Sicht wurde in enger Zusammenarbeit zwischen Architekten, Künstlern und Handwerkern ein wahres Kleinod geschaffen. Das beginnt schon bei dem mit viel Geschick restaurierten Portal und setzt sich fort bis zu den drei Eheschließungsräumen (Foto), die mit ihrem historischen Gewand die Zeremonie der Eheschließung feierlich umrahmen. |
