Description
Français : Soit (32) une muraille A qu'il s'agit de forcer. Avant tout, au moyen des projectiles lancés par les trébuchets et mangonneaux, les assiégeants ont détruit ou rendu impraticables les hourds B, ils ont comblé le fossé D et ont couvert le remblai d'un bon plancher incliné. Le beffroi, amené au point C, engagé sur ce plancher, roule de lui-même; les éperons E, dont la longueur est calculée, viennent butter contre le pied de la muraille; leurs contre-fiches G, couvertes de forts madriers, forment un chat propre à garantir les pionniers et mineurs, s'il est besoin...
