English: This basalt stele was erected by one of the king’s local governors, Nergal-Eres, at Saba. The stele’s inscriptions report on the King’s victorious campaign against Palashtu (Palestine) and features the Assyrian king Adad-Nirari III praying in front of divine symbols. From Saba. Neo-Assyrian period, 810-783 BCE. Ancient Orient Museum/Istanbul Archeological Museums, Turkey.
العربية: شيد نيرغال-إيريس وهو أحد حكام الملك المحليين في منطقة سابا في فلسطين؛ هذه اللوحة المصنوعة من البازلت. تتحدث نقوش اللوحة عن حملة الملك المظفرة ضد بالاشتو (فلسطين) وتظهر اللوحة الملك الآشوري أداد نيراري الثالث وهو يصلي أمام الرموز الإلهية. هذا النصب من سابا، ويعود إلى الفترة الآشورية الجديدة، أي 810-783 ق.م. متحف الشرق القديم / متاحف إسطنبول الأثرية، تركيا. |
