Deutsch: Südwestansicht der röm.-kath. Pfarrkirche hl. Maria von Lourdes in der oberösterreichischen Marktgemeinde Bad Schallerbach und links das Pfarrzentrum sowie ganz rechts das Seniorenheim Wohnen & Pflege St. Raphael der Kreuzschwestern.
Die Pfarrkirche wurde mit dem Pfarrhof und Pfarrsaal in den Jahren von 1956 bis 1958 nach den Plänen des einheimischen Architekten Hans Feichtinger und unter Bauherr Dr. Franz Tauber, Priester und Seelsorger in Bad Schallerbach, errichtet. Die Grundsteinlegung der Kirche fand am 28. Okt. 1956 statt und anlässlich des Jahrhundertjubiläums der Marienerscheinung in Lourdes wurde sie am 26. Okt. 1958 als Lourdes-Jubiläumskirche geweiht. Das Seniorenheim Wohnen & Pflege St. Raphael wurde am Standort des früheren Gästehauses St. Raphael um rund 9 Mio. Euro ab April 2013 (Spatenstich) errichtet und im Juli 2015 in Betrieb genommen (offizielle Eröffnung am 28. August). English: Parish church of Bad Schallerbach, Upper Austria. |
