| Description | 7 октября 1998 года на Народной площади состоялся митинг трудящихся и ветеранов города Переславля и Переславского района в рамках Всероссийской акции протеста профсоюзов «Нет — губительным экономическим реформам». Принята резолюция, которая потребовала отставки президента Бориса Николаевича Ельцина и выразила доверие председателю правительства Евгению Максимовичу Примакову. Лозунги на плакатах: «Власть — народу!», «Б.
