English: Autograph of Martin Parmer on scrip issued by Parmer in 1836 during the Texas Revolution. Parmer was authorized by the Convention at Washington to confiscate guns, ammunition, horses, saddles, etc. on behalf of the Republic of Texas for the use of the Texas Army under the command of General Sam Houston. Parmer signed the scrip in his official capacity as "Agent for Texas." |
