English: Coat of arms of John de Grandisson (1292-1369), Bishop of Exeter from 1327-1369: Paly of six argent and azure, a bend gules charged with a mitre between two eaglets displayed or, being Grandisson paternal arms differenced by substitution of the mitre for the middle eagle. (Source: "Lives of the Bishops of Exeter"). However drawn in the Grandisson Psalter (British Library Additional MS 21926, f.6r), which he bequeathed to Isabella, dau. of King Edward III: Paly of six argent and azure, a bend sable charged with a mitre upon a priest's stole between two eagles displayed argent
