English: This device (Sensoray 2231) captures analog HD video up to 1080p30, adds user-defined text overlay, compresses to H.264 (High Profile, L3) and streams it over USB. Supported HD/SD input formats include AHD, HD-TVI, HD-CVI, NTSC and PAL. It also captures analog audio (AAC) and grabs high-resolution JPEG snapshots on-the-fly without interrupting A/V streams. The small size (48x25x10 mm) and low weight (14 g) are useful in space- and weight-constrained applications. Analog HD can be transmitted over long distances, so this device can capture video at the downstream end of a very long (up to 500 meter) cable in apps such as remotely operated vehicles. |
