Description
English: The letterforms of Akzidenz-Grotesk show a “folded-up” structure with narrow apertures. The effect is similar to Didone serif typefaces popular in Europe at the time, such as the work of Justus-Erich Walbaum. The unrelated sans-serif Frutiger shows a much more open design.
