A U.S. Navy North American AJ-1 Savage (BuNo 122590) at the Naval Air Test Center Patuxent River, Maryland (USA), 5 October 1949. This aircraft crashed and burned near Bedford, Virginia, on 22 June 1950 during a ferry

flight from Edwards Air Force Base, California, to NAS Patuxent River. The crew of three was killed.
