Summary

Description A U.S. Navy Grumman A-6E Intruder (BuNo 161103) from Attack Squadron VA-95 Green Lizards flies off after missing the arresting wire on the flight deck of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). VA-95 wa assigned to Carrier Air Wing 11 (CVW-11) during the Lincoln's circumnavigation of South America following her shakedown cruise to join the Pacific Fleet.
