Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	To support encyclopedic discussion of this work in this article. The image is specifically needed to illustrate the object's slow apparent movement and brightness at discovery. The image will serve as an illustration of both 2018 VG18 ("Farout") and its discovery.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	There is no freely available alternative to this unique image, as this faint object could only be observed with advanced telescopes at the time it was discovered.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	The image will only be used in the "2018 VG18" article. It will be used as a means to illustrate the article. If a better image is created to replace this image to illustrate the article, it will be then used to illustrate its discovery.
