English: The Chevrolet Motor Company was formed in 1911.
All sheetmetal, except the doors, was changed again in 1962, a more conservative looking car. 1963 and 64 were just a mild facelifts, 64 a slightly softer look. Models for 64 were; The base model Biscayne; in 2 or 4 door Sedans and Wagon. Mid spec, Bel Air (waste height side trim, twin round tail lights); 2 or 4 door Sedans and Wagon. Top model; Impala (more elaborate side trim, triple round tail lights); 2 door Hardtop Sport Coupe, Convertible, 4 door Sedan, Hardtop Sport Sedan and Wagon. The Gypsy Rose was first seen cruising Whittier Boulevard in the opening credits of the TV sitcom 'Chico and the Man'. Although the original Gypsy Rose was damaged in an accident, it was so highly regarded amongst enthusiasts that it was recreated.
