Pinecrest Green. The 1955 Chevrolet got a new chassis and new styling, the start of the most popular generation of Chevrolets.1956 saw a facelift, now with a full width grille and new 'speedline' body styling. Still available in 1956 was the Base 150, mid 210 and top, Belair. As before, the 210 got some chrome, a single chrome strip along the side, whereas the Bel Air had twin chrome strips. Bodys; Sedan, Coupe, 2 and 4 door Hardtop, Wagon and Convertible. Chevrolets were also produced in Australia by General Motors using modified American bodies from 1926-68. Engine; 235 cu in blue flame 6 cyl or 265 cu in OHV V8 |
