Notes Blanchard died in 1904 and this map was published posthumously by his estate, under the management of his nephew, George Cram. The estate continued to publish maps until about 1917. Karrow lists the first edition of this title in 1899. With text on the "Street Numbers" and "How to Find Them." Printed outline color. Map is folded into beige and red paper covers 17.5x9 with "Blanchard's Map of Chicago with New Street Names Steam Railroads Street Car Lines Street Numbers and Sections Chicago Rufus Blanchard 552-6 Wabash Ave." in base paper color of beige. Indexes on verso (not scanned)
