Français : Quatre vues du bateau à moteur "Vingt et Un I" quand A. C. KREBS était directeur de Panhard & Levassor.

Au dos : "Photographies du premier Vingt et Un, pour lequel la vitesse sensationnelle de 26 milles à l'heure a été revendiquée en novembre 1903. Les propriétaires Smith & Mabley ne sont jamais entrés dans la vantardise [sic] dans une course, mais la publicité généralisée de la performance de Vingt et Un a déclenché un engouement pour les "bateaux automobiles" qui a duré plusieurs années."

Écrit à la main au dos : "4 vues de Vingt et Un, ca. 1903. Pioneer 'autoboat' mis en campagne par Smith & Mabley. Power was 4 cyl. Panhard. Boats and canotage."
English: Four views of the motorboat "Vingt et Un I" while A. C. KREBS was managing the Panhard & Levassor Co.

Typed on back: "Photographs of the first Vingt et Un, for which the sensational speed of 26 miles per hour was claimed in November of 1903. Owners Smith & Mabley never entered the boast [sic] in a race, but widespread publicity of Vingt et Un's performance touched off an 'autoboat' craze that lasted for several years."

Handwritten on back: "4 views of Vingt et Un, ca. 1903. Pioneer 'autoboat' campaigned by Smith & Mabley. Power was 4 cyl. Panhard. Boats and boating."
