Cedar Township is one of sixteen townships in Calhoun County, Iowa, United States. As of the 2000 census, its population was 408.

History[edit]

Cedar Township was created in 1877. It is named from the Cedar Creek.[3]

Geography[edit]

Cedar Township covers an area of 36.19 square miles (93.7 km2) and contains two incorporated settlements: Rinard and Somers. According to the USGS, it contains one cemetery, Cedar.
