English: This image demonstrates image colour transfer, by depicting a modern day photograph of London using colours from a 1750 painting of London by Canaletto. The modern photograph was taken by myself. The processed image was created by myself using software (Adaptive Recolouring) that I wrote myself. The reproduction of the Canaletto painting has been made available as a public domain image by Wikimedia. |
