Русский: Эта фотография мавзолея мемориального комплекса Ходжа Абду-Берун в Самарканде (Узбекистан) содержится в археологической части "Туркестанского альбома". Шеститомное фотографическое исследование было подготовлено и издано в 1871—1872 гг. под патронажем генерала Константина П. фон Кауфмана, первого генерал-губернатора (1867—1882 гг.) Туркестана, как называли в то время территорию Центральной Азии, принадлежавшую Российской империи. В альбоме уделяется особое внимание исламскому архитектурному наследию Самарканда. Мемориальный комплекс Ходжа Абду-Берун (ханака) посвящен почитаемому в IX веке арабскому судье из клана Абди. Слово берун (внешний) добавлено в название для указания на расположение комплекса рядом с кладбищем на окраине Самарканда, а также для того, чтобы отличить его от другого посвященного мудрецу комплекса, который был расположен в пределах города. Мечеть ханака была построена в первой половине XVII века Надиром Диван-Беги, визирем бухарского правителя Имам-Кули Хана. Cet inventaire photographique, en six volumes, fut réalisé entre 1871 et 1872 sous le patronage du général Konstantin P. von Kaufman, premier gouverneur général (1867-1882) du Turkestan, nom donné aux territoires d'Asie centrale de l'Empire russe. L'album consacre une attention particulière à l'héritage de l'architecture islamique de Samarcande. Le grand ensemble commémoratif de Khodzha Abdu-Berun (khanaka) fut dédié à un juge arabe vénéré du IXe siècle, du clan d'Abdi. Le mot berun (extérieur) a été ajouté pour indiquer son emplacement jouxtant un cimetière à la périphérie de Samarcande et pour le distinguer d'un autre grand ensemble situé à l'intérieur de la ville commémorant le sage. La construction de la mosquée de la khanaka fut entreprise au cours de la première moitié du XVIIe siècle par Nadir Divan-Begi, vizir du souverain de Boukhara, Imam-Quli Khan. Cette vue présente le mur de la qibla et le mihrab, niche de prière indiquant la qibla, direction de La Mecque. La surface de la niche du mihrab est recouverte de carreaux de céramique. The six-volume photographic survey was produced in 1871-72 under the patronage of General Konstantin P. von Kaufman, the first governor-general (1867-82) of Turkestan, as the Russian Empire’s Central Asian territories were called. The album devotes special attention to Samarkand’s Islamic architectural heritage. The Khodzha Abdu-Berun memorial complex (khanaka) was dedicated to a revered 9th-century Arab judge of the Abdi clan, with the word berun (outer) added to signify its location adjacent to a cemetery on the outskirts of Samarkand, and to distinguish it from another complex commemorating the sage that was located within the city. The khanaka mosque was built in the first half of the 17th century by Nadir Divan-Begi, vizier to the Bukharan ruler Imam-Quli Khan. Shown here is the qibla wall with the mihrab, a prayer niche indicating the qibla, the direction of Mecca. The mihrab niche is surfaced with ceramic tiles. Above the ceramic decoration around its pointed arch is a sacred inscription in cursive script. The mihrab is framed by an inscription band in block Kufic letters. At the top is another inscription in elongated cursive (Thuluth) Perso-Arabic script.

El estudio fotográfico en seis volúmenes se produjo entre 1871 y 1872, bajo el patrocinio del general Konstantín P. von Kaufman, el primer gobernador general (1867-1882) de Turquestán, como se conocían a los territorios del Imperio ruso en Asia Central. En el álbum se presta especial atención a la herencia arquitectónica islámica de Samarcanda.
