English: Built in 1857, this Carpenter Gothic-style church was designed by Charleston-based architect Edward B. White, and served as a chapel of ease for the congregation of Christ Church for the townspeople of Mount Pleasant. The church split from Christ Church into the congregation of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in 1954, and a new Ministry Center was built in 1996, designed to match the character of the original building. In 2009, the church split from the Episcopal Church, and joined the Anglican Church in North America.
