Description
Two waveform slides painted by Daphne Oram, 1965–80
Oram was interested in working intuitively on her music; she wanted to paint a
shape and hear what it sounded like, then try another. Rounder shapes produce
shofter sounds. Spikier shapes produce harsher sounds richer in harmonics.
