Español: Escudo del municipio de Coveñas (Sucre).

"En un croquis dominado por líneas curvas entrantes y salientes, se amarran y encierran los contenidos más sobresalientes de este jóven y próspero municipio. 1) Parte Izquierda: Dedicada al mar y al petroleo, mediante un barco petrolero fondeado en nuestro mar. 2) Parte Derecha: Notamos un libro abierto a las buenas costumbres, a la educación y a nuestro intelecto. 3) En el Medio: Un imponente sol que día a día nos da vida y nos muestra nuestro horizonte. 4) En los laterales externos, sentadas y recostadas muy seguras notamos dos ramas verdes; pueden ser de laurel que sombolizan los triunfos a obtener en el futuro; o también que pertenecemos a un departamento agrícola. 5) Repartida en la parte externa de arriba y la parte externa de abajo, y sobre cintas podemos leer nuestra frase de honor.
