Description

Bondi Beach. The VF got a facelift, the VG, now rectangular headlights and a single plane grille, the taillamps wrapped around the corner, but big news was the new Hemi engine to replace the Slant Six with hemispherical combustion chambers. The Pacer now available in 4 levels of performance; base, E31, E34, and E35 The base Pacer was 195 hp with 2 bbl carb, Street Pack E35; 198 hp with 4 bbl carb, Street Pack E31; 204 hp with 2 bbl carb, Track Pack E34: 211 hp with 4 bbl carb, Track Pack These Track Pack cars got wider rims, Finned rear drums, close ratio 3 spd gearbox, oversize pistons, revised camshaft and 35 gal tank. 3385 Pacers Sedans were made and 1162 Hardtops. Built from August 1970-June 1971
